I was driven to create Digital Roots to solve two problems: Having worked in Albania since 2018, I could see the chronic shortage of sustainable employment. Emigration numbers are off the charts, and the country was losing its most talented and best-educated individuals. Through my work in Ireland, I could see social enterprises and SMEs being left behind in digital marketing. These organizations, with amazing stories, lack the skills or time to implement effective social media strategies and, with current salary rates, could not afford to employ the talent they need.

Along with Elias, my partner in Albania, we created Digital Roots as a solution to both problems. In Albania, the apprentices are supplied with all their IT , Wi-Fi, and co-working space needs. We created the training in Ireland through Diarmuid Fatharta, one of Ireland's leading digital marketing trainers. We have the ambition to scale the program and would love to hear from you.

As a Community Manager at Digital Roots, I've had the incredible privilege of witnessing the growth and evolution of an amazing group of apprentices. I've seen young people from all walks of life come together, put a lot of effort into developing their skills, and work hard to deliver value to their host companies despite language barriers, cultural differences, and dynamic environments.
It's been heartwarming to see how Digital Roots has become more than just a job – it's a place where young people experience personal growth and opportunities they didn't think possible. Watching our apprentices succeed, collaborate, and transform their ideas into realities has been nothing short of inspiring.
